Unit 4: Social trends - is society changing?

Last week in class, we talked about social trends - new, popular ways of thinking. In the PPT below, you can see the results from our class for each question we asked. In the 2B class, 7 students did the survey.

Now, compare the 2B class's results to the collated results of ALL my students. A TOTAL of 95 students did this survey last week.

Your blog post this week:
Compare the results of our survey. Do you see any trends in your generation's ideas for society? Do you think Korean (and Chinese) society is changing? Are there any traditions that will continue?
Please write at least 50 words (5-6 sentences).

See you next week!

Some sociologists view society as a place to conquer or to die.
This is true with individuals who belong to the same social groups, companies, and teams, as well as other organizations.
surrounding social environment of this kind work mischief to society.
the people is getting more and more live to oneself.
Traditional culture of korea is fundamental a spirit of mutual help.

  3. I think that the trends in our generation is more egoism. Do for the good of myself and there isn't being respect. Because the number of the unemployment have increase quickly. people lived in competition society.
But I think the Chinese society is changing. The reason is that people always respect there family. So, in my opinion an other spirit will be birth.

I think the trend of our generation individualism and egoism. The time when the person and the person meet with advancement of the information-oriented society which is quick decreases and the human nature and care lose and they are caused by with him and thinks that the personal egoism comes to be higher. But like this trend inside continuously the fact that continuing will be faithful to the family. That considers seriously personal freedom no matter how more, the chart family being valuable, forgets and does not live is in order not to be.
