Unit 10-11: Cell Phone Culture

This week, we learned about how Apple's iPhone will compete with new Samsung and LG smart phones that use Google's Android open-source operating system. What kind of cell phone do you have? Will you buy a new cell phone next year? What kind do you want? Tell me about your current and future cell phone purchases. What do you look for?






Please practice using the following grammar styles we learned in class this semester. Write one sentence to answer each question:

1. PRESENT PERFECT (p. 93)/CELL PHONE VOCBABULARY (p. 109) - What has been your cell phone experience until now?

2. TIME CLAUSES (p. 78) - How do you usually use your phone? What do you use it for?

3. COMPARATIVES (p. 15) - Compare your current cell phone to your past cell phone.

4. SIMPLE FUTURE (p. 64) - Are you going to buy a new G3 smart phone? What kind will you buy?

    I have always bought an attractive and r reliable phone.
    Before I have a phone, I always use the public telephone. And after I have a new phone, I give the old phone to my sister.
    My new phone is as beautiful as the old phone. But the new one is more interactive than the old. The new phone is a “Smartphone”. So I can use is to connect the Internet. I like to download songs, games and news very much.
    Maybe I will buy a G3 smart phone if it is attracted. And I will buy the nice one.

    1. I have wanted durable phone. and it must have store to more data. so, I have bought such phone.
    2. I like cell phone game. Before download the games, I buy the phone. and watch the news, every day. sometimes, I download to read a book.
    3. my current cell phone is better than past cell phone.
    my current cell phone is more attactive than my past cellphone.
    my current cell phone is the highest ability in past cell phone.
    4. I will not buy a new cell phone. nowadays, all most new phone is used touch screen.
    I don't like touch screen. I like keypad.
    I will use a current cell phone.

    1. I have wanted new brand cell phone. New brand cell phone really really expensive. But I have chosen new brand cell phone.
    2. I usually use text message. Send the message to my friend. And I play the game. Cell phone game is really fun and when I lose, cell phone game is best.
    3. My cell phone better than before cell phone. But before cell phone more expensive than current cell phone. I really like current cell phone.
    4. I will buy new cell phone. Chocolate phone. I want to use touch screen and wide screen.

    1.New mobile phones being used now more than satisfied with the phone functionality.

    2.I do a lot of phone calls and conversations can allow other people

    3.In the past, mobile phone cameras, but cameras are now.

    4.To buy mobile phones in the future I think is similar to that now.

    Hello
    I have a 3G cellphone which is made by LG company.I bought it for two months,so i am not going to buy a new one,but i want to buy iphone if available,maybe it is allowed next years.Now my new one is more attractive than old one,and it is more innovative than old one,and it is also affordable than the one.
    I think iphone will be more successful,as it is more fashion,more innovative and attrative.
